Sigma Phi Epsilon

Each year, the Washington Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon awards $5,000 across FIVE incoming freshmen males attending the University of Washington ($1,000 each) who embody our philosophy of the Balanced Man by demonstrating excellence in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicants who best exemplify the ideals of the Balanced Man and show a strong commitment to personal and intellectual development. The application and scholarship in no way necessitate membership in our organization.
SigEp takes pride in helping its members achieve an ideal experience both during and after their undergraduate years through continuous development with respect to the principles of Sound Mind and Sound Body. Upon receiving and processing your application, the scholarship selection committee will review your responses and invite all strong applicants to interview with a member of the committee at their convenience. After interviews are completed, the committee will invite 15 finalists (whom will each receive a $100 gift card to the University Bookstore) and their families to our annual banquet where we will award the five scholarship recipients. Applications are due Friday, July 1st 2022 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis so the sooner you apply, the better! Applicants will be contacted in order of submission.
